A rich, traditional beauty oil for stronger-looking hair, nourished scalp care, softer skin, and everyday moisture.

100% Pure Jamaican Black Castor Oil is a deeply nourishing, multi-purpose oil made for hair, scalp, skin, and self-care rituals that need real moisture, richness, and restoration. Known for its thick texture and heritage-rooted use in Black, African, and Caribbean beauty routines, Jamaican Black Castor Oil is a staple for anyone who wants to care for their crown, protect their strands, and keep their skin feeling soft and conditioned.

At Splendid Beauty, we believe the best beauty products carry both performance and culture. This oil is not just a product; it is a ritual. It is the kind of beauty essential to many of us who grew up seeing on vanities, bathroom counters, and in hair-care routines passed down through generations. It is simple, powerful, and deeply familiar.

Use it to nourish dry scalp, seal moisture into textured hair, care for edges, soften rough areas of the body, or add richness to your wash-day and protective-style routine.

Why you’ll love it:

Deeply nourishes dry hair and scalp
This rich oil helps moisturize the scalp and condition dry-feeling strands, making it a beautiful addition to natural hair, protective styles, braids, twists, locs, and textured-hair routines.

Helps support stronger-looking hair
By helping to seal in moisture and reduce dryness, Jamaican Black Castor Oil can support hair that looks fuller, healthier, and better cared for over time.

Perfect for edges, ends, and high-dryness areas
Use it on fragile-looking edges, dry ends, or areas that need extra care. Its thicker texture makes it ideal for targeted application where lightweight oils may not feel like enough.

A beautiful moisture sealant
Apply it after leave-in conditioner, hair cream, or water-based hydration to help lock in moisture and keep strands feeling softer for longer.

Multi-purpose for hair, skin, and body
Beyond hair care, this oil can be used on dry elbows, knees, heels, cuticles, and rough patches to leave skin feeling softer, smoother, and more conditioned.

Rooted in Caribbean beauty tradition
Jamaican Black Castor Oil is a heritage beauty staple. It carries the warmth, richness, and practicality of traditional Caribbean care while fitting beautifully into a modern beauty routine.

Simple, pure, and effective
With one powerful ingredient, this oil gives you a no-fuss, high-impact addition to your self-care shelf.

How to use:

For scalp care, apply a small amount directly to the scalp and massage gently using your fingertips. Use consistently as part of your hair-care routine, especially when your scalp feels dry or tight.

For hair, apply a small amount to the ends or dry areas of the hair after using a leave-in conditioner, cream, or water-based moisturizer. Focus on the areas that need extra nourishment and moisture protection.

For protective styles, apply lightly along the scalp, parts, and edges as needed. A little goes a long way.

For a hot oil treatment, warm the oil gently by placing the bottle in a bowl of warm water. Apply to scalp and hair, cover with a shower cap, and leave on for 20–30 minutes before washing thoroughly.

For skin, massage a small amount onto dry areas such as elbows, knees, heels, hands, cuticles, or rough patches.

Use sparingly, as Jamaican Black Castor Oil is naturally thick and rich. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. For external use only. Patch test before first use, especially if you have sensitive skin or scalp.

Skin, Hair, and Product Guidance

Are the products suitable for sensitive skin?

Some products may be suitable for sensitive-feeling skin, but every person's skin is different. We recommend reviewing the full ingredient list, doing a patch test before full use, and avoiding products with ingredients you know you are sensitive to.

Do you provide medical or skin condition advice?

No. Splendid Beauty does not provide medical advice. Product descriptions are for general information only. If you have eczema, allergies, severe acne, scalp conditions, or any medical concern, please speak with a qualified healthcare professional before using a new product.

How should I choose the right product for me?

Start by shopping by your main goal, such as hydration, glow, gentle cleansing, body moisture, oils, or targeted care. Product pages include descriptions, key benefits, and recommended use cases to help you decide. As Splendid Beauty grows, we may add a routine quiz to guide customers more personally. We currently have a quiz that will be able to give you a solid starting point if you do not know where to start.

Do you sell products for melanin-rich skin?

Yes. Splendid Beauty focuses on products selected with melanin-rich skin, textured hair, and culturally rooted beauty needs in mind. Suitability still depends on each product, formula, and customer's personal skin or hair needs.

Do you sell hair care products?

Splendid Beauty is designed to support skincare, body care, hair care, and beauty essentials. Hair care products may be added as supplier products, photos, pricing, and compliance information are finalized.

Should I patch test a new product?

Yes. We recommend patch testing new skincare, body care, hair care, and lip products before full use. Apply a small amount to a discreet area and wait before using more broadly, especially if your skin is sensitive or reactive.
